Changes in pain processing, tissue adaptation, regeneration, resilience, and immune function can influence how symptoms develop, are perceived, and are processed.<br \/>\nBut what does this knowledge mean for osteopathic practice?<br \/>\nIn day-to-day practice, we see women with very different symptom patterns. It is not always clear how current findings on physiology and hormonal changes can be incorporated into our clinical reasoning.<br \/>\nThis course is about understanding these connections better and making their relevance usable for everyday work.  <\/p>\n<p><strong>The focus is on:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>hormonal changes during perimenopause and their effects on key physiological processes<\/li>\n<li>sleep disturbances, fatigue, pain, and changes in tissue adaptation and resilience during this phase of life<\/li>\n<li>classifying typical symptom patterns in light of current physiological insights<\/li>\n<li>translating today\u2019s knowledge into osteopathic practice<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>A core part of the course is practical application<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>working with specific case studies from everyday practice<\/li>\n<li>discussing typical symptom constellations in perimenopause<\/li>\n<li>classifying possible influencing factors and connections<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The aim of the course is to link the current state of knowledge on physiology and hormonal changes with typical questions from everyday practice and to critically discuss their relevance for osteopathic work.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Course Description Perimenopause affects far more than hormone balance.
