Course content

This second course of Minimal Lever Mid Range (MLMR) Manipulation Techniques is designed to build on the basic understanding of the theoretical and practical material and to learn to understand it at a deeper level. Possible difficulties in relation to connecting segments of the spine are also highlighted.

Computer-generated images, demonstrations and practical lessons are used to train participants’ understanding and skills. Each technique is thus broken down into its individual steps and then slowly reassembled on the basis of a comprehensive understanding of why which technique is used when and where. Once these basic techniques have been understood during the course, a broader spectrum of more unusual techniques will also be demonstrated and practiced, always against the background of concrete application possibilities, also using real cases as examples.

The aim of the course is to allow participants to work with the MLMR manipulation style in a more relaxed way, both theoretically and practically. They are shown ways and means of using them more frequently and thus achieving positive results.

  • Brief and concise summary of basic (MLMR) theory and practice
  • Treatment of C0/C1, C1/C2, C7/T1, T12/L1, L5/S1
  • Relevant anatomy and biomechanics for the related structures
  • Reflection on neurology and vascular structures, including fascial attachments, spinal curvature and morphological differences
  • Important structures in relation to manipulation
  • Discussion of important contraindications
