Course content

This course aims to explore the anatomical, functional, and physiological relationships between the hydrodynamics of the craniospinal system, the musculoskeletal system, fascia and membranes, pressure dynamics in the body cavities, and the nervous system. Central to this concept is the median arrangement of the major vascular pathways in the body, the effects on their hydrodynamics, and the resulting symptoms in patients whose efficiency is impaired by dysfunction. We will examine the theoretical foundations and develop treatment and therapy strategies to influence this both at the system level and at the symptom level for patients in osteopathic clinical practice.

The course combines theory and practice, and the concepts should be immediately applicable in clinical practice.

Lecturer/s

Ass. Prof. Christian Fossum DO (NOR)
