Course content

The course examines the osteopathic treatment of learning disabilities and ADHD in theory and practice.

Attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) begins in childhood and adolescence and can persist into adulthood. ADHD is one of the most common mental health problems in children and adolescents. It is estimated that about 2 to 6 percent of all children and adolescents suffer from attention disorders and motor restlessness.
The aim of the workshop is to understand the appearance of ADHD.
The possible causes are explained and the resulting different symptoms in infants, children, adolescents and adults are discussed. In the workshop, the resulting osteopathic treatment of those affected is put into practice.
