This seminar will look at the practical application of the Lien Mécanique Ostéopathique on all joints and the bones of the periphery, as well as numerous interesting innovations.

The superior and inferior limbs are examined using global tests, which allow a rapid diagnosis of the dominant articular lesion of the periphery.

All articular lesions of the limbs to be treated are examined in detail using specific tests. The restricted joints are released again by using the recoil. The effects on joint function (mobility) and pain are immediately noticeable.

In long bones, fixations can occur at the diaphysis (restriction of flexibility) or at the lines of force (restriction of compressibility). In practice, these various intra-osseous osteopathic lesions often prove to be dominant in all chronic or complex cases and must therefore be treated as a priority. The joint dysfunction, as a secondary lesion, then normalizes itself.

Joint diastasis is a little-known osteopathic lesion that leads to instability and hypermobility of the affected joints. Why is joint correction by manipulation not sustainable? The tests and treatment methods carried out as part of the LMO method make it possible to easily identify and resolve these instability problems and their consequences (joint disorders, pain, recurrent sprains).

Lecturer/s

Pierre Thibault de Beauregard DO (FRA)
Pierre Thibault de Beauregard received his diploma in Lyon in 2005. During his final year of study in osteopathy, he studied the Mechanical Link according to Paul Chauffour and Eric Prat and has been practicing LMO ever since. He became an assistant in 2009 and began teaching the Osteopathic Mechanical Link in 2017. His consultations initially took place as an assistant in Eric Prat’s practice. Since 2007, he has also been working in his own practice in Nevers, France.
