Why do people respond differently to stress, pain, or therapeutic interventions?
Sex, life stage, and hormonal changes influence numerous physiological processes. They can affect tissue adaptation, pain processing, immune function, recovery, and how we cope with stress. At the same time, these connections have so far received only limited attention in many clinical considerations.
The webinar highlights the relevance of these developments for osteopathic practice and discusses how current insights from physiology and health research can contribute to a more nuanced understanding of clinical decision-making.
It offers an initial insight into the content and key questions of the masterclass “Making Better Decisions in Osteopathy – Sex, Life Stage, and Physiology in Everyday Practice”, where these topics are explored in greater depth and discussed using clinical examples.
