Interview with Jochen Frühwein about his hormone osteopathy course

Next date: May 2026 in Nuremberg: Hormone Osteopathy (Basic) – Osteopathy School Germany GmbH

In most osteopathic training programs, the endocrine glands and hormonal system receive insufficient attention. Consequently, many osteopaths are not sufficiently familiar with the endocrine system, various hormones, and functional hormonal disorders. On the other hand, the incidence of functional hormonal disorders has significantly increased in recent years (stress-associated thyroid disorders, functional immunodeficiency, chronic adrenal fatigue, cyclic mastopathy, chronic insulin resistance, and much more).

Hormone Osteopathy (Basic) deals with the hormonal glands that are underestimated and sometimes not discussed at all: thyroid, thymus, mammary gland and adrenal glands. In addition to the basics of the various endocrine glands, the most important hormones and their hormonal interactions between the organs are discussed. Conventional medical pathologies and functional pathophysiologies are covered as well as osteopathic diagnosis and osteopathic treatment of functional hormonal disorders of these organs.

Extremely important and common functional and pathological disorders are discussed, including their osteopathic examination and treatment, e.g. Hashimoto’s, stress-associated thyroid disorders, cyclic mastopathy, functional immune disorders, adrenal exhaustion, etc. These disorders and their treatment are not discussed in many osteopathic training courses and are unknown to many osteopaths.
