Target:

This course covers a completely new area of osteopathy, which LMO pioneered in the examination and treatment of the heart and arteries. As arteries consist of connective tissue, they can form tissue fixations that represent potential disruptive factors in the organism. With the autonomic nervous system, which is largely connected to the vascular system (vagus nerve, border cord, aortic plexus), the arteries represent a key in the treatment of numerous neurovegetative dysfunctions in our patients. So how can the cardiovascular system be examined and treated in osteopathy? And how can the autonomic nervous system be examined and treated? How does osteopathy deal with somato-emotional factors?

This seminar will help you help you to successfully apply one of A.T. Still’s basic concepts: the rule of the artery!

Program:

1st day (8 hours)

Tomorrow:

  • Theory, clinic and practice of the thoracic organs: larynx, trachea, bronchi, lungs, pericardium and heart. Provocation tests, inhibition tests and recoil.
  • Introduction to the use of LMO on the arteries.

Afternoon:

  • Theory, clinic and practice of the arteries of the lower extremities. Provocation tests, inhibition tests and recoil.
  • Theory, clinic and practice of the arteries of the upper extremities. Provocation tests, inhibition tests and recoil.

2nd day (8 hours)

Tomorrow:

  • Theory, clinic and practice of the autonomic nervous system.
  • Theory, clinic and practice of the thoracic arteries: aortic arch, ductus arteriosus, pulmonary artery, coronary arteries and thoracic aorta. Provocation tests, inhibition tests and recoil.

Afternoon:

  • Theory, clinic and practice of the abdominal arteries: abdominal aorta and aortic plexus, coeliac trunk, renal artery, superior and inferior mesenteric artery, iliac artery and lumbar border line.
  • Provocation tests, inhibition tests and recoil.

3rd day (8 hours)

Tomorrow:

  • Somato-emotional approach.
  • The recoil in the mentalization and verbalization phase.
  • Theory, clinic and practice of the cervical arteries: Carotid artery, thyroid artery, vertebral artery. Vagus nerve and cervical sympathetic trunk. Provocation tests, inhibition tests and treatment with Recoil.

Afternoon:

  • Summary and practical practice of a complete treatment of the vascular system and the autonomic nervous system.
