This masterclass is aimed at experienced osteopaths and therapists who want to deepen their knowledge of craniofacial and ENT-related dysfunctions. The course combines sound scientific principles with practical osteopathic treatment techniques.

Masterclass content:

1. Nose, nasal cavity & choanae

  • Embryology, anatomy, function, and topographical relationships
  • Innervation, lymphatic system, and vascular supply of the olfactory system
  • Important brain regions of the ENT system and their neuroanatomy
  • Osteopathic dysfunctions: clinical presentations, symptoms, development, and treatment
  • Anamnesis, inspection, and targeted osteopathic treatment in the ENT area
  • Mouth breathing: perspectives from osteopathy and conventional medicine

2. Tinnitus

  • Anatomical and neurological basics
  • Mechanisms of development and typical symptoms
  • Treatment options and current research results

3. Eye & visual system

  • Anatomy, embryology, function, innervation, and blood supply
  • Examination and targeted osteopathic treatment
  • Visual impairments: causes, involved nerves, and therapeutic goals
  • Integration of the cervical spine and cranial bones
  • Lacrimal apparatus and lacrimal gland: function and osteopathic approaches


Participants will learn to recognize functional relationships in the ENT and eye area, assess dysfunctions, and treat them in a targeted manner. The course teaches practice-oriented techniques that are clinically sound.
