Tissue resilience – osteopathic approaches for neurovegetative exhaustion
This three-day advanced training course combines current neuroscientific findings with a differentiated osteopathic treatment concept. The focus is on understanding the complex interactions between neuroregulation, interoception, emotional processing patterns, and tissue physiology.
The aim of the course is to deepen the neurobiological and osteopathic foundations of stress adaptation, autonomic regulation, and self-healing processes, and to translate their therapeutic relevance into clinical practice. Participants learn how osteopathic applications can improve resilience. This includes supporting neuroplastic processes, influencing autonomic regulatory mechanisms, and promoting the body’s capacity for self-regulation.
We want to find health and be able to name it—so “wording” as well as (nonverbal) communication in clinical practice is also given special importance.
The training provides an integrative understanding of the connections between central and peripheral regulatory systems and their significance using selected symptom patterns. These include, in addition to AD(H)D, depression, burnout, ME/CFS (myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome), anxiety disorders, adjustment disorders, and others.
The extensive practical component enables hands-on implementation of the content in everyday osteopathic treatment. Key areas include autonomic regulatory axes, stress and neuroendocrine networks, and visceral, neuro-centered, and advanced cranial treatment concepts. Numerous hands-on sessions support translating neurophysiological relationships into concrete therapeutic strategies. Participants thus develop a structured, evidence-informed treatment concept that connects modern neuroscientific insights with osteopathic practice.
